This is a good cable lock for attaching a portable RV electrical control system (surge protector) to a camping power pole. The only problem I had is that in wet weather the lock starts to rust and then the lock stops working well. At a campground, I figured I'd have to cut the cord because the lock wouldn't open without a noticeable wiggle of the key. When I got home I sprayed the lock with grease. This restored the lock to normal operating condition. Be sure to stock up on lube for this lock. I used 3-in-1 Lock Dry Lube which worked great!
