Review on RGB LED Rope Lights Outdoor 164Ft - 16 Colors Remote Control Fairy String Plug In, Waterproof Super Durable For Bedroom Patio Halloween Christmas Decor by Mike Hernandez

I should have known by the word "fairy" in the title, but was fooled by the term "rope" as well. I had imagined something that would be about the diameter of a pencil or my small finger. Instead this is very thin. I have included photos to show the size of these. The curled up portion in the middle photo is approximately 30 feet of lights. That being said, the length is great at 100 feet, it easily hid under the railing on my deck and I was able to staple it with T-25 staples without concern for damage to the wires (it's so thin there was nearly zero chance for the staples to puncture it). It's important to note that the controller box must be installed somewhere in line of sight because the remote is IR. I initially had it tucked up under my deck, but had to move it out so that it could be controlled. Not sure if these will provide enough light for what I wanted, but will look nice for effect even if they aren't very bright. Instructions (attached photo) state the controller is IP44 and the LED string is IP68.
