My cartridges only last 1 season before they turn brown. As you may know, they aren't exactly cheap, but if you can buy a bag of this size at this price, it becomes quite affordable. I don't know how many refills I'll pull out of this bag, but I will never buy cartridges again and I won't need another bag for 10 years! To keep it in good shape I just cut the corner, rolled it tight, used a vacuum pump to suck out the air, glued it in place and clamped the corner. Then I keep it in the bottom drawer of the fridge. Since I'm single I don't need it that often.
