i wanted a tent that is not very long when folded but still has enough space for two adults and two large backpacks. This tent definitely impresses. Also, unlike my old rental, this one has space between the inner mesh and the rain cover. This is great for keeping moisture out of the tent. Along with a decent swim, this tent can handle the rain without getting your gear wet. The second time I took it, there was strong wind and rain. Many other people had collapsed their tents and got wet. I had no problems. The poles of the tent are very strong and fit together well. It's still a bit heavy compared to some of the lighter tents but it was half the weight of my old one so that's a plus too.
