Easy to assemble, instructions are clear. Even my kids can handle it lol. It seems to me that the paint is thicker on the stock photos, but no complaints at all. have this option now. Wierd A good waterproof and windproof shell. Overall sturdy and well made! Highly recommended for a small family.

I really wanted this tent to please - small, light, quick to set up. But after the 3rd ride I gave up - I choked on it every time couldn't sleep (twice with raincover but both doors open, once with no raincover at all) I don't know how but this is my third tent and I've never had this problem I have to admit but leaving it during a storm was good definitely sheltered from rain.

This tent is very light and sleeps an adult, a school-age child, a large dog and all our gear. I got this because my kid will start packing so we need a smaller and lighter tent. I bought a few cans of kiwi to improve water resistance and so far we are very happy. Thanks to the ultra-open mesh top, the tent cools down quickly on summer evenings. The aluminum bars were a big advantage for us. Fiberglass is very difficult to repair when it breaks and is heavier. Great tent. Would buy again.

I bought it for a hike. It worked well. Rain cover, tent body, poles and poles weigh 4 lb 12 oz. It could have been easier but it worked for me. The tent's double wall, mesh hull and raincover kept me away from condensation. In the morning when the sun hit the tent, it got hot inside and I woke up. Installation is easy and takes about 5 minutes. to rocks and roots. But on a flat, soft surface it is not needed.

This tent is very similar to the LL bean tent I recently retired from but overall I like the Gonex tent better. It's super easy to set up and the ratchet straps on the raincover make it easy to stretch out so it doesn't touch the main tent below. This is important so that the roof of the tent does not get wet from condensation while driving.
