Review on πŸ•οΈ Gonex Camping Tent: Windproof, Waterproof Dome Tent for 2/4 People | Ideal for Camping, Hiking, Backpacking & Mountaineering | Set Up Effortlessly in 3 Seasons by Drew Gengler

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Spacious, well made and easy to set up

This tent is very similar to the LL bean tent I recently retired from but overall I like the Gonex tent better. It's super easy to set up and the ratchet straps on the raincover make it easy to stretch out so it doesn't touch the main tent below. This is important so that the roof of the tent does not get wet from condensation while driving. It's spacious for a two person tent but I can argue with the product description assuming it's good for four people. Maybe two skinny adults and two kids who get along well, but I like to think of it as a two person tent. The doors on both sides open wide and easily, and the roof is high enough to make this tent a good choice for camping and the like. It's larger than a lightweight backpacking tent and adds a bit more weight. My full gear weighs five pounds, which is light enough given the comfort, but not the lightest tent you can find. A nice feature is that the installation instructions are printed on the fabric so they don't go bad if you stuff them. Arrival with a wet tent. But like I said, it's so easy to set up that I don't think you'll need lengthy instructions. It is very well made, with straight stitches and no loose threads.
