Bought for use on the beach early summer. I live in Hawaii and the outdoor policy has become very strict during the pandemic. When we went to the beach we had to be in the water or walking. Since we use this a lot, we decided to leave it inflated and just leave it like that. Bought shelves and shelves for the garage. But when we know we're not going to be using it for a while, we roll it up and store it in the pouch that comes with it. It's easy to use. It takes a little practice and balance. You mainly use your upper body so at the end of the day you really feel like you're working! The paddle is strong and works well, it moves us through the water, it's a very slow process. You should glide calmly over the water and enjoy the scenery and not paddle like you would in a canoe. It's a much-needed relaxing way to enjoy the day! When rowing, I take a lot of breaks so as not to overexert myself. I sit or lie in the sun because I wasn't allowed to do it in the sand anymore! It really was a brilliant move and we've had so many compliments on how cleverly we moved our 'picnic or sunbathing' to the water! As the board is long we can fit and sit and also take our small dog with us every now and then! It's very generous with space! The board is solid, if you keep your balance well you can fall like all floating objects, so use a padded jacket if going deep. I stay where the depth is about 5-6 feet. If you live near a major water source like a beach, lake, etc. I would definitely suggest you try at least one of these! You will love it! They are very popular in Hawaii and I've always wanted one, if it wasn't for the strict beach rules this summer I might not have gotten them so I'm glad! We'll use this for as long as it lasts. I am sure that with proper care and maintenance it will last a long time! Our new normal has turned out pretty good and we love it!
