Upgrade from Red and Yellow Blades NOW!

At some point in my passion story I was convinced in an article that a thin splitting saw blade was somehow "better". I don't remember why I bought it, but I did. I've paid over $25 each time to "sharpen" table saw blades, and by that I mean they looked sharper, but I still feel like they're "running out," and I've pressed more, than I expected to break, and the scratches and marks left by the blade were anything but "glue ready". I studied these blue blades a bit and decided to buy them instead of resharpening them. MY GOD! Doesn't matter. I run an "old" DeWalt hybrid which isn't powerful enough for me right now, but the SawStop 3HP budget isn't exhausted yet (or likely won't be replenished anytime soon), so I'd better stick with that as Contractor Power, but not yet with serious power. I was shocked (for some unknown reason) when opening the new blade as it looked so HEAVY. Somehow I was almost afraid of it. I was so used to these lightweight, thin-kerf versions that I carefully set them up and took a step back, knowing that they would definitely crack my torso and pierce my skull. The frequency was lower or more harmonic than the yellow and red. The weight of the 1/8" full cut and the extra steel made my "little" DeWalt hybrid a beast. I ran walnut, maple and cherry through these Boards run and each effortlessly slid through those boards as if they didn't even know they were being used. Get it and be happy.
