I bought three kitchen soap dispensers last year due to wrong construction. One of them kept leaking between uses. Another pump broke within 3 months. The other came with a gasket on the opposite side that held the dispenser a millimeter above the counter so the water stayed below it each time it was used. THIS SOAP DISPENSER HAS NONE OF THESE PROBLEMS; finally working the way they should. Smooth and doesn't require much pressure to spread soap. Installed flush with the meter. PLEASE NOTE that in many of the photos in the review the gasket intended under the counter is installed above (black bar under the dispenser in the photo); They were installed incorrectly. The dispenser comes with a flat pad for over-counter installation and a thicker pad for under-counter installation. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the pumping mechanism won't give up that easily. installation suggestion. Apply silicone grease under the counter top side seal and apply to the soap bottle threads before screwing it under the counter.
