Great for Macs using APFS
If you are using High Sierra or newer Mac OS where you need to work in APFS format, this will work. I use it as an external drive to clone my High Sierra computer with APFS. First you need to erase/reformat this drive to APFS and then use it as a clone. Get rid of the firmware.
