My daughter bought me a small book safe with a key to to open and close it. I liked it so much that I wanted to take more. So I bought a big safety book about three weeks ago. Both safe books match my other books on the bookshelf and are indistinguishable from the other books. That's great. I've had problems with home theft before, and there are a few things I'd rather keep safe and not regret later if they get stolen. Items such as cash and prescription drugs must be included. Big prescription bottles won't work, but all you have to do is pour the pills from the big bottles into a zippered bag and the book safe will keep them safe inside. They will surely fit on a bookshelf among my other books. In fact, I'm quite surprised at how many safes there are in both books. They really do look like an ordinary book. So they are safely hidden along with your other books. My large vault book has a combination lock and my small vault book uses a key. I think they're both excellent and I love them both so much I can't decide which I like better. The key is easy to use, but you need to remember your key to open it. The combination lock is easy, but you can't forget your combination either. I wrote down my combination and stuck it in my desk drawer in case I forgot it. The safes are durable and consist of a robust metal box. From the outside, book safes are made of paper and cardboard and look just like a regular book. The name of my safe little book starts with the word dictionary, and most of us probably won't be interested in a book with that name. The Big Book also has a secular title, so my curious guests won't be interested in these safe books. I can't believe I didn't know about these wonderful book vaults years ago. I really like my two book safes and would recommend them to anyone who needs a safe place to store small items like money, medicine and even a small gun if you feel you need one. I am happy about my two vault books.
