I bought these shoes because all shoes don't have arch support. I can't find any inserts that actually work. My feet and lower legs hurt when I walk, but I don't wear compression stockings up to the knee, I wear a separate shin brace. I find they don't compress at all, which is why I was disappointed. However, when I put on my running shoes and run in them, they are amazing. Somehow the material keeps your feet from rubbing hard on the inside of the shoe. They also fit my foot perfectly and I don't have to worry about them slipping like my other socks. I wish they were a little cheaper. hope they hold up well
