So the KL430 (expensive, 6ft) is absolutely superb. They're quite expensive, but they're possibly one of the best strips you'll get today. Extensions (3ft) are just as good and just as expensive. Very good quality, bright rich light, noticeable difference in the brightness scale, lighting zones, excellent quality. with good glue to attach. Again arguably the best lightstrip out there but for the price. The KL400L5 (16ft) is significantly inferior. While I expect them to be better than other brands, they're certainly here to compete with the lower market. IMHO they are still better than competitors, but also slightly more expensive than some competitors. This model lacks some of the functionality of the KL430, but still delivers quality light with beautiful coloring and at a more affordable price. So if you are looking for a top quality product, spend your money and check out the KL430 range. If you're more price conscious and can live with lower quality (still comparable to others in this price range) you're still getting a good product in the KL400L5.
