The product is terrible, much below my expectations.

The guide rollers collect the toner from the paper and pour it directly onto the glass of the lower scanning element. As a result, when scanning, two vertical black stripes (2 cm thick) are formed on the digital image, even overlapping the text. For their appearance, it is enough to scan 3-5 pages, which makes the device unusable in principle. Glass has to be counted after 3-5 pages (20-25 pages in the contract). It is not possible to scan the incoming primary accountant for the same reasons.

Pros
  • None. The device is made of high quality plastic.
Cons
  • Constant building up of paper and swallowing several pages. Self-pollution.

Great scanner so far

Great price for a fantastic scanner! They will be in a public computer lab, so I'll edit this review once I can verify its reliability.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Pros and Cons Best in Scanners and Accessories

This product has a nice large platform, scans quickly in one go unlike my others which take multiple passes for one page. The downside is that it doesn't work with my Mac. It works with Windows 10

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Two products in a row with a defect

Two different products returned because of the same problem - they came with a light strip torn from the guide. I don't think this model will survive shipping. The boxes were not damaged in either case. It looks like it only has weak components that can't handle being thrown around during shipping.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • New competitors appeared

Doesn't work well with office electronics

I really wanted this scanner to work. So much so that when the first one I ordered didn't work, I sent it back for a replacement. And this didn't work either. I mean the electricity didn't work. Couldn't even turn it on. It was more dysfunctional than the first. The service wasn't very helpful either. Do not buy this model, there is a malfunction in the design of the device. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Pros
  • Great price

It works. Limited competition in this price and size category

I needed to replace a third party Korean-made tabloid scanner that is primarily used to scan black and white drawings, often up to 11 x 17 inches are big. . The 4700 was the only brand I found in my price range that could scan at 600 dpi. The included software is terrible hence the 3 star rating but after getting past that and working with the scanner it seems to work fine. I just wish it worked better with my Windows 10 and Photoshop CS6 combo, but it gets the job done.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models

Not for Beginners: Scanner

Installing the driver was a lot of work. I wouldn't recommend this to someone used to plug and play. And I still can't find a manual that describes what the different scanner settings do. It's not in the online documentation. However, it is a good and fast scanner. If you scan a lot, you'll also need Adobe Acrobat DC, as it sometimes randomly flips images upside down and sideways. This is easy enough to fix in Acrobat. Create a file from individual images, then edit them with Organize Pages. If

Decent extra large flatbed scanner at a reasonable price. Mediocre software

I used this scanner to scan old albums and photo albums. I needed something that could scan 12x12 inch pages without removing photos and other goodies. It helps and the image quality is okay for what I do, but the software is far from perfect. With each scan, the image is saved in a separate folder instead of as separate images in the same folder. You then export these folders in batches to your computer (which needs to be plugged in directly as there's no flash drive option). Then you need to…

Very well built scanner

I have used several scanners over the years and in the early days they were built like tanks and generally worked very well. Then came the usual price cuts so they could all out-price each other. The market is dominated by these cheap scanners (usually around $100 or less) and for the most part they are junk. However, this scanner is a throwback to the days when everything was well built. It is robust and has a large scanning range. I was looking for a large scan area to be able to scan old…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Compared to ESPON scanners, it is worth its price!

We use large ESPON scanners at my school and the quality is amazing so I had very high hopes for them. But they cost between $3,000 and $4,000, so I was skeptical when I saw this one for $584. After trying it I was very impressed. Advantages-cheap-durable-great. The total scan area is 12" x 18", but the edges are cropped and blurred when scanned, so the actual scan area is 11" x 17" - 24-bit color scans, grayscale, and a weird mode called black and white. which severely distorts everything you…

Pros
  • High marks for tester support and durability
Cons
  • There are flaws
