I used this scanner to scan old albums and photo albums. I needed something that could scan 12x12 inch pages without removing photos and other goodies. It helps and the image quality is okay for what I do, but the software is far from perfect. With each scan, the image is saved in a separate folder instead of as separate images in the same folder. You then export these folders in batches to your computer (which needs to be plugged in directly as there's no flash drive option). Then you need to open each folder and transfer the single image to a folder/album on your computer. You cannot name folders/images when scanning. Surprisingly, trying to do this resulted in the images being moved around in the folders when exported. I don't know how that's even possible. So it's a bit slower than I hoped, but not bad. Considering the huge price hike for other very large, feature-packed flatbed scanners, I'm happy.
