
Removing the old ESC and motor was the hardest part. First you have to lower the window, which of course is not possible if the old engine is not running. The trick I learned online was removing the three bolts covering the silver engine cover, which is admittedly tricky while the old block is still in place. Remove the engine block from the door, then you can adjust it as needed to access the three screws that cover the engine. Once you've removed the cover, pull out the old motor and then you can lower the window slightly. This part fits perfectly and works great.
