Review on Didog Soft Flannel Padded Dog Vest Harness, Escape Proof & Quick Fit Reflective Dog Strap Harness, Easy for Training & Walking - XS Size: Chest 15-18 Inches, Teal by Ken Perry

We bought three of these harnesses in size XS for our two 6-month old Mini Schnauzer puppies, about 10 pounds each, and our 11 year old dog, who is about 12 pounds. The harnesses seem to fit just perfectly. Keep in mind that they have relatively narrow chests -- but there is plenty of adjustment if your dog has a wider chest than ours do. There is no adjustment on the neck but it seems totally unnecessary for our pups -- they fit very nicely. The harnesses are very soft and seem quite comfortable, and the pups took to them very quickly. They seem very secure both on and off leash, and do not slip from side to side. I am a bit puzzled by the description that they are "flannel;" I wondered how sturdy that would be. But the fabric used is such as might be on a stuffed animal, furry and thick and very, very soft, and well-sewn almost in a quilting fashion, with the reflective ribbon on top. The harnesses seem well made, well-sewn and secure. I like that there is no velcro. They are very easy to put on and take off, very simple, and the dogs seem quite comfortable. We are using them mostly to attach to seat belt harnesses to keep them safe on longish car trips, and we wanted harnesses that they will be comfortable lying down in and taking nice long road-trip naps, and these seem to fit the bill perfectly. There is a little "handle" on the back of the harnesses so you can grab your pup if you need to; the pups themselves seem to find that very handy to grab a hold of each other as well. :) It was important to me that the chest strap did not chafe their armpits, and these fit far enough back that they do not rub the pups' legs at all. We are very pleased with the purchase.
