Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.
My previous camera experience was with a compact point-and-shoot. A Canon 600D kit, a Nikon D5100 kit, or a Canon EOS 550D kit were the finalists. I'm a Canon guy, so I shot down Nikon very quickly. Since the swiveling screen was a deciding factor and the 600D is the more recent model, I went with it. Reviews inspired me to get my 18-135mm lens and get the shot.
