Review on Cordless Cellular Shades Blackout Honeycomb Blinds Fabric Window Shades 35" W X 64 " H, Ivory Beige(Blackout) by Jen Slocum

I bought the white blackout shades for my bedroom, and they do what I needed them to do. A couple of things I wish I'd known:The white looks a little gray because of the blackout lining. It does a good job of keeping out the light though. Some comes it around the edges, but I haven't found a blackout shade yet that doesn't do that.If you're doing an inside mount, you need about 1 1/8" minimum depth for the mounting hardware. The headrail of these shades is about 1 5/8" deep. I have pretty shallow windows, so this could have been a problem.The headrails have plastic caps on the ends that add 1/16" to each side (1/8" total). I have 35" wide windows and ordered the 35" wide shades, but I had to take the plastic caps off to make them fit. They look a little unfinished this way, but I doubt anyone but me would notice.
