This purchase was exactly what I wanted. I am NOT an electrician and tend to overdo/rebuild everything. The cable arrived quickly and in perfect condition. BUT I made a mistake. I forgot how strong 10 gauge wire is. If you're a regular homeowner like me and not an electrician who knows exactly what you need, remember that running that wire into an electrical box is like bending steel. If you don't need 10, go back to 12, or maybe even 14 if that's all you really need. I didn't need a 10 and so my project ended up being way more complicated than it needed to be.
