Well I'm sick of all the guitar cables and the mess they make. I'm also tired of cables breaking or fraying, and while it's not very common, it's frustrating to hear a buzz or realize a cable is broken. I've researched many wireless options and read countless reviews of current products on the market. I chose this Lekato model based on the reviews, the features I wanted, and the price. Keep in mind that I won't be touring with AC/DC, Styx, Queen or Bon Jovi any time soon, but I will be available if asked. So I ordered the Lekato 5.8 GHz system on March 16th and received the box on March 19th. I think that's pretty damn quick, isn't it? I opened the box and it's a pretty simple approach; plug in, play, charge and repeat. The charging time was only about 1.5 hours the first time. I occasionally play for about 6 hours and it's still going strong. Photos - I don't intentionally show or talk about my gear to impress - to be honest I've seen better examples from others; I just want you to see that Ketano suits many guitar styles. I As you can see from the photos I've tried every pickup guitar I've ever had and they all worked fine. Pay attention to two American Strat - no problem! I've read that these wireless systems may not support active pickups - WRONG! My Schecter Hellraiser has active pickups and works great (check out what JY Young, Styx, can do with active pickups - a very underrated musician). My acoustics - two Taylors and a Martin also work. I tested my four amps - Marshall DSL40, Fender Stage 100, Fender Blues Tweed, Vox Valvetronix and even my little Katana Mini (a must for practicing on the go - what a great sound out of a lunch box!). I also connected the Lekato to two of my Digitech pedalboards, a Tube Screamer and a Brian May Red Special pedal. Guess what? Yes, they all work great. BTW, all my gear is within 5 feet of my computer/cable router and my iPhone is here too. No issues or cutouts. I connected my iPhone to play songs through the amp and played guitar with Ketano with no problem. Okay, now the distance test. This test was only done at home, but I wandered around the house on the first and second floors. The Lekato worked great at 70-80 feet and even through a wall. Failed to walk through two walls - like you really need it! So I'm happy with the remote test. There is no delay to the human ear. How long it will take? I don't know, but I don't plan on throwing it against a wall, smashing it with a hammer, or fire testing Jimi Hendrix's guitar. I'll let you know if I run into any issues, but the bottom line for me is that this is a super bargain for the money, and when you look at all the money that's been spent on cable over time, think I think it's worth a try. I hope this helps you decide. UPDATE - January 2, 2021: After 10 months of use, this product continues to exceed expectations in terms of performance! Mine still holds a charge for 3-6 hours depending on how long I play. Continuously they last 3-4 hours. Charge times remain very good, only around 2 1/2 - 3 hours for a full charge. No sacrificing quality when loading, the signal remains clear and strong with no lag that the human ear can perceive. I've even accidentally dropped them a few times and no damage. I still believe in these things. A NOTICE. I purchased these devices and neither the seller nor Revain paid me or contacted them for verification. I just want to help other guitarists who might be interested in losing cables!
