The antenna is very short and designed for urban conditions, although there is a preamp on the antenna itself, but elements for any decent gain if you are in the suburbs or the country. The rotating mechanism seems weak and the whole antenna is wobbling on its body, I don't know how long the rotating mechanism will last. The control box has a button to rotate but no direction feedback. You press and hold the button to spin in one direction, release and press again to spin in the opposite direction. You either stick your head out to see or you rely on signal strength, but with digital TVs you have to wait for the signal to lock and sync. After all, it is no better than my passive UHF yagis that I have installed and there is no way I can calculate this antenna for 60-70 miles
