I had a digital antenna (Amazon product) for about 5 years but recently it has stopped working. I had 65 channels but sometimes the signal disappeared! So I bought that. When collecting, I thought it was silly, but let's try anyway. I picked up 8 CHANNELS, even returned my TV, still only 8!

I was skeptical about this antenna because I wanted CBS, NBC and ABC. I bought a similar antenna but a different brand and all the channels were poor quality. I'm about 50 miles between two different major cities and after installing this antenna I received not only the main channels from both cities but also about 40 other digital channels. If this antenna can withstand any weather, it will be the best antenna I have ever bought.

It had an old antenna and only received 16 channels. After installing this new one I now get 37 channels. I live in the country and cable TV is not available. I don't like satellite TV because it is affected by the weather etc. I studied a lot before I bought this antenna. The range was much greater than others. This 200 mile antenna replaced a much smaller 150 mile antenna. The improvement was very impressive when I switched to this antenna. We have a scoreboard panel that gives us an idea of the strength of the signal. When we switched to this antenna, all of our weakest channels saw a noticeable improvement in signal strength. The antenna is very short and designed for urban conditions, although there is a preamp on the antenna itself, but elements for any decent gain if you are in the suburbs or the country. The rotating mechanism seems weak and the whole antenna is wobbling on its body, I don't know how long the rotating mechanism will last. It's better than some. Picture quality is great but I'm less than 30 miles from TV stations and they are in plain sight. Even with the preamp, signal strength is low, but picture quality is excellent. The rotator is TERRIBLE! It's easier to just loosen and adjust the brace and never use the rotator! This antenna replaced a PBD WA-2608 which had served me well for a year. It was slightly damaged during a hurricane, knocking over the element. It continued to function properly until MeTV was pulled from one station and moved to a station with less power. I lost my MeTV. I just bought a new LG 50" and still no MeTV. Antenna received without delay. Assembly was easy except the hardware was missing a screw. It's easy to replace with the one I found in my garage. A 40ft cable was included in the package (see comment below).
