I recently replaced my recessed lighting with Sunco Lighting 12 pack. However the old canisters that I have did not have any C hooks to insert the wire springs into to hold the new lights in place. This is what you need. They are individually package with one pair of C hooks and 2 screws. So here is the important part. you only have to go about a inch up into your metal canisters. I used a slightly smaller drill bit to make the pilot hole to make it easier to get the screw started. there are no instructions on where to place the C hooks but just try and make sure they are opposite to one another. Doesn't have to be perfect to work, however if the outside of retro light doesn’t line up with hole for canister, just move one of the C hooks over. Your probably not lined up across from each other.
