Last year I rode my bike to work five days a week no matter the weather. Although my commute to work is short (3 miles), it's long enough to irritate the rain. These boots (combined with bike mudguards, a waterproof bike jacket and rain pants) help make a ride in the rain fun by providing quick and easy protection for my work/casual/bike shoes. The rubber is thick enough that I'm not worried about my pedals eating it (although I think they take less abuse than someone walking in them). Generally worth the money.
