Very pleased with this purchase, will recommend it to everyone!

The phrase "monitor headphones" pretty much tells it all. In the beginning, there is an excess of information, which causes mental fatigue. You are able to hear the singer slapping his lips, the cracking of his fingers on the strings, the clicking of a bow, and a great deal more that the average citizen would be better off not hearing. In this perspective, inexpensive "ears" that produce a distorted representation of the sound but do not enable the user to notice sound artifacts appear to be superior. When I decided to invest in studio monitors for recording, I did so with the expectation that the music would sound amazing on them. The music does indeed sound amazing on them, but. In this regard, the music that you have been playing on repeat for a number of years also plays a vital function. The ear eventually adjusts to the new sound as well. The notions of good and bad are highly vulnerable to interpretation. After all, a person does not like things; rather, a person enjoys the experience of having feelings when engaging with things or the anticipation of having such emotions. I've seen some unfavorable comments made concerning the 280s. The deficiencies disappear completely after the system has been "driven" for 40โ€“70 hours, which is a proven reality. The ear pads have become creased and no longer make a squeaking sound. Both the bow and the headphones that were before pressed against the ears now relax. You can alleviate the pressure on your ears by slightly straightening the bow with your fingers. There is no trace of any sound artifacts left. Those who claimed that there was not enough bass just do not have a source that can drive headphones with a 64-ohm impedance. The bass can be heard. It sounds fantastic. It will be faster for the brain to be removed than for there to be an overload of the bass in the headphones. The only significant drawback is that when there is a sudden change in sound, the bottoms appear to creep onto the middle ones. However, this is because of the inertia of the 40 mm membranes in the emitters, which is something that is inherent in all "burdocks."

Pros
  • Monitor. Linear frequency response. Produced in Ireland, as opposed to China.
Cons
  • Because of its weight, the thick twisted wire pulls the head down toward the earth. The ear cushions have a very tight fit, which causes the ears to sweat in the heat. Due to the fact that they utilize monitor headphones, they have high expectations for the sound quality of the recording. The entire wave of sound is released all at once. Some sound artifacts could be detected coming from the new ones, but they went away after being in operation for forty hours. Any imperfections in the voice performance may be heard quite well, and there is no drop in the frequency response at the frequencies where sibilants are produced.
