Review on WeldingCity ER316L Stainless Steel Welding Industrial Power & Hand Tools by Ralph Banks

I bought 4 rolls of this wire. One welded normally and the other three rolls weren't in the best shape. You weld by moving forward, laying down the caterpillar, and then it stops feeding. So let's start investigating the issue. On two occasions we found that the wire in the center of the spool had rough edges as if it had been knurled or ground. Or maybe even flattened by making it wider at this point. Well, when those areas got to our top, they couldn't feed our .026 top. Because he couldn't get out of our peak, birds sometimes nested on the feed wheel. Sometimes birds don't nest, they just get stuck in our lace. One day we found bent creases in the middle of the spool as it wouldn't slip through our tip. 1 of the 4 rolls is perfectly welded. I will not buy this brand again. I prefer the Blue Demon wire, although it appears to be out of stock at the time of this review. This manufacturer cannot produce consistently round, smooth wire. So why bother with it?
