JACO ElitePro Digital Tire Gauge

I used to buy products (including analogue tire gauges) from JACO Products and found them all to be well made and useful and innovative. This digital tire pressure gauge is no exception. The working end of the pressure gauge is small enough to fit in tight spaces (motorcycles, bicycles, lawn tires, etc.) and swivels, so you don't have to tediously install it in the space and keep the connection in the air valve. The digital sensor itself is well protected by a rubber cover. Another useful feature is the air release button, which allows you to adjust the air pressure if the pressure is too high. The manometer can record four different pressure units (PSI, bar, Pa and gf/cm2). Everything is simply selected with the UNITS button. The sensor can be switched on or off with the ON button. I've used it to check pressure in several different vehicles and it seems fairly consistent and accurate compared to TPMS gauges. The only downside is that when you pull the gauge out of the tire valve, the pressure drops down (leaks). , so you can't take a reading and then look at the meter after you take it off because it's not accurate. You can only get an accurate reading if a pressure gauge is connected to the tire being tested and directly reads a digital reading that shows the pressure to the nearest 1/10 psi (if that particular pressure unit is selected). It also lights up when in use and comes with two required AAA batteries. I also love the fact that it can withstand pressures of up to 200psi. Leak aside, I highly recommend this product.
