If you have thick, calloused skin on your feet and sides that can't be completely removed with a pumice scraper then you MUST try these bars. They remove all dead skin, leaving soft, new skin. Serious. You'll be amazed. When I first used one of these bars, I soaked my feet in warm, soapy water for about 20 minutes before scrubbing to soften the skin. I then started rubbing with the rough (dark purple) side because my feet needed some serious, serious help, and when I was done it was like I had a new pair of feet. I wish I could take before/after photos, but it's probably best not to because I don't want to bother you with the "before". This is not at all like the usual pumice stone you buy at the store. They are much more abrasive, very light and tiny pieces will come off as you use them. So they wear out over time and need to be replaced. But you won't even bother because you will be so pleased with the results they deliver. I will never use anything else on my feet because anything else is a waste of time.
