Good to have two sides of coarse and fine grit

Love these pumice stones! My fiancee's mum used to wear them in the shower, I saw them a few weeks ago, tried them on and was blown away by the results! Wow, they really exfoliate and smooth the skin! I like the size of the handlebar itself, it's easy to hold and holds well and then moving it back and forth is a lot easier than one of the little round ones! I love that it has two sides, a thinner, rougher side and a heavier side to use on different parts of the foot. So far I've been using them

Be Amazed by Your New Feet

If you have thick, calloused skin on your feet and sides that can't be completely removed with a pumice scraper then you MUST try these bars. They remove all dead skin, leaving soft, new skin. Serious. You'll be amazed. When I first used one of these bars, I soaked my feet in warm, soapy water for about 20 minutes before scrubbing to soften the skin. I then started rubbing with the rough (dark purple) side because my feet needed some serious, serious help, and when I was done it was like I had…

Not really pumice, but better.

At the shop where I do pedicures I noticed that they use them. The dark purple side is perfect for keeping my heels smooth. I live in the desert and go barefoot a lot so I need something for my feet but other products don't seem to work very well. I use this with callus gel from time to time and it seems to work better than all the other "pumice stones" etc. While it's not a pumice stone, I've never liked hard pumice stones and they don't seem to do much anyway.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • It makes me nervous

Doesn't work well and crashes! styrofoam?

Fall apart! Doesn't even completely remove all dead skin cells or calluses. If you can push it through with your fingers (see picture with thumb) it's not quality. It's like styrofoam. It just crumbles and all those bits fly down the drain. Who knows what it's made of and I'm sure it's not great if it all goes down. Watch out for 1 star reviews. I feel like the other reviews aren't really referring to the same product as if they had what I got it wouldn't be 5 stars. Cheap for some reason.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No uniform required

Great for my feet

A professional pedicure is not possible during the Covid-19 pandemic. All salons are closed. I live in Florida and wear flip flops 99.9% of the time. The backs of my heels are always very dry with calluses, as are the sides of my big toes. Disgusting, yes I know. This buffer works just as well as a professional pedicure, well - except for a relaxing foot massage. Now my legs are very soft and look great. I told my mother in law to get one.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

The best pumice stone!

I was looking for a purple stone (as in a rock) at Revain but also came across this purple pumice stone. I've read other reviews saying this was the best pumice bar they've ever gotten and I've seen some say it flakes off too easily. The price was good and I was fine with being disappointed if I didn't like it (since it was so cheap). When I received it I noticed that the entire pole was covered in hot glue. Maybe to keep the two sides together? I peeled off the adhesive and found it strong and

Amazing product. HIGHLY recommended

I intentionally waited about a month to use this product before writing this review. When I opened the packaging and looked at the product, I was a bit skeptical. It was very light and reminded me of a piece of styrofoam. Actually my thought was. it will never do what they announce. BUT . I was shocked after the first use. This is a tough little strip that completely removes softened calluses and handles tougher stuff with ease. I have very dry feet that develop thick calluses, crack and bleed.

Works great, do not buy

I advise you to give up this (and similar products) and buy pumice stone. They ALMOST work, but don't break down into non-degradable plastic particles that enter the food and water chain. This product works great, I can't lie. But it's made of polyurethane foam, which slowly breaks down into microparticles that just fly off into the sewers. Buying and using this product will help your feet and it is affordable. But it will contribute to the pollution of your local, national and global water…

  • Finally bought
