Review on 🔧 CRAFTSMAN Assorted Screwdriver Set - 12 Piece CMHT65044 by Mike Pettigrew

I have several handyman hand tool kits including the exact same screwdrivers. Some are many years old. I have bought this brand again and again because of the lifetime warranty and easy replacement if a tool breaks. Although I occasionally break a tool, this is very rare. I bought this set about two months ago. When I first used standard screwdrivers (albeit on a tightened screw), two of the tips broke trying to unscrew the screw. I have to say that this is unacceptable. I've abused some of my old Craftsman screwdrivers MUCH worse with no problem. I would have returned the whole set had it not been for the return period. I've already stopped at Lowes to replace individual drivers, which was easy enough, but I think I'll reevaluate my approach to hand tool brands. Such a shame. A long-standing solid set of tools now seems like garbage.
