I know my body can be very bad (every part of my front end seemed to freeze/rust), the bearing couldn't come out with the kit the way it was designed to use . If you have an old car, lots of deposits or rust, this just doesn't help. I used plates (adapters) with a borrowed machine press to pull out the hub and bearing, so they were useful, but as accessories to the press, not for the job itself.
