Low Volume Fix - Monitor control function button location

Another reviewer mentioned a way to increase the volume of the built-in speakers (because the factory setting is only 50%) and mentioned the "controls" of the monitor. For the life of me I couldn't find this option in Windows 10. I was going to return the monitor, but for fun I decided to look at the user manual. (Who even reads these things these days, especially for a monitor?). And now, in the lower right corner of the monitor, real physical buttons are hidden, which activate the "monitor control” function, regardless of the computer's operating system. Press on the far left to enter this mode (see second photo). From here you can get into different modes, one of which is to change the default volume setting. See attached photos. I hope this saves those wondering why the heck the monitor speaker volume is so low.

Pros
  • I use it for office purposes and it's good. The speaker works well too. No complaints.
