When you see "Deli Sheets" you tend to think of small wax paper sheets, that your local donut shop uses. This is NOT what these leaves are. These panels are made of HDPE (high density polyethylene). These are thin sheets of plastic, similar to the material used to make clear garbage bags. In our household, these deli sheets are mainly used for two purposes: storing leftovers in their original glasses and storing leftovers in standard bowls. With a single-use solution for storing leftovers, there's no need to wash extra glasses and bowls or use Tupperware containers. We just toss the deli tray when we run out of leftovers. When storing drinks, we cover the jar with a cloth and use a cotton hair tie to hold it in place. When they are used, we simply wash them and use them again. Sometimes we also use rubber bands, they hold the delicatessen leaves securely on the bowls and jars and do not allow condensation or moisture. not a filter, but a jug. My significant other can make me glasses of water throughout the day and keep them in a small fridge so I have enough cold water while he is at work. We also use deli sheets to store leftover soda. We can store leftovers in bowls instead of using a Tupperware container. We wait for the food to cool a little, cover it with a sheet and again fasten it with a hair tie or an elastic band. These leaves have no chemical taste, weird odor, or any residue, so they won't spoil or change the taste of food. Each sheet measures 8 inches by just under 11 inches, and there are 1,000 sheets in a box. . These are disposable sheets. We've tried other sheets in the past that had a chemical taste, had an odd smell, or were otherwise unusable. We didn't have any of those issues with these Deli Sheets. I love that this item is available at Revain because none of the stores in my area sell anything remotely resembling these deli sheets.
