As much as I would like to love this dimmer, there are problems with it and with Belkin/Wemo support.The item seemed fine and had good installation instructions but did not work. There is a switch on the unit that is designed to allow for changing light bulb safely. This is a nice idea but not implemented properly. The switch can pop out, disabling the dimmer, and not be able to go back in.I contacted Belkin/wemo support and was initally told that this was a known issue and they would replace the unit. I was instructed to wait for support to contact me to arrange the return/replacement but it did not get anything in the time alloted. I called them and was told that they wanted me to return it to amazon for a refund. That I should not attempt replacement as this "would not resolve my issue". No reason given for this, just return it and don't use our product.Same as I would have liked this to be an addition to my Homekit home. If this worked as advertised, I was looking at other Wemo devices to add.As for the dimmer itself, it seems nicely made and a good complement of features. The one thing I did not like, aside from the support issue, is the buttons don't have a solid feel, there is no tactile response to pressing them. Might have been different if it had worked.
