I am an IT specialist at a wood supplier. Our workplace is on 7 acres and includes multiple buildings, warehouses, etc. I already use a number of Ubiquiti devices, including an edge router, four Unifi switches, and eight Unifi access points. This is the first access point I've bought for installation. Outside. We placed it on the side of one of our sheds to cover part of the yard and provided wi-fi coverage for storage at the other end of the property. It just got installed and activated today and so far it looks great. With my Galaxy S 7 Edge as a test client, I get a range of several hundred meters from the hotspot. Even if my WiFi meter drops to 2 bars on my phone, I can run a speed test and get a stable 10Mbps. The warehouse at the edge of the property has never had wifi coverage, and now I can walk inside, behind the shelving, behind the interior walls, and still get a reasonable level of service. The guy who works in this building is very happy!
