This is a great choice for hooves! After going through a few, we vote this one as the best. It is very durable and shows no signs of imminent failure after years of use, unlike other picks that break down over time. The cutout makes it easy to hang on the wall, and the bright yellow color makes it easy to find if it falls off. It's extremely comfortable to use and we get less hand fatigue, which is important since we're in our 60s. Finally, the shape of the blade makes selection quick and easy. That's very helpful because our 22-year-old Quarter Horse doesn't want to give up his hooves for long! We have four of these hoof picks, two for the stable and two more that we take outside. This is a well thought out, quality product that will serve you (and your horses) well.
