This review is based on just one night's sleep, but it was the best night's sleep I've had in probably years! The 3 inch topper is ideal for side sleepers. My hips sink so low that when I lie on my side it feels like my spine is straight. What memory foam (and looking forward to it as winter approaches!) The topper arrived two days late but I won't complain about it. Unwrapping and wrapping was easy, I let it rise 24 hours before using although I think it was ready in probably 12. I didn't notice any smell coming from it at all. I'll admit the material was a bit greasy when I lugged it onto my bed, but three layers of different sheets so I'll only touch the slightly greasy foam surface once a quarter when it's time to wash the mattress pad and protector. I was contemplating buying a brand new mattress as my 9 year old found the memory foam mattress too firm - so glad my mate recommended the topper! one-tenth the price (and one-tenth the hassle) of buying a new mattress and expect to benefit from that mattress topper for at least a year, if not more. If you need to add softness/support to your mattress that's not quite dusty yet, this is a great and affordable way to do it!
