The suction part works properly. The fact that it's larger than my previous phone mount ensures it will stick to any surface. Even without an additional 3M mounting piece. The package also arrived earlier than expected and upon opening there is a card that gave me a guarantee on the product as well as a link to extend it in case something happens to it. So, for less than $20, I have a phone mount that comes with a 24-month warranty. I think that alone made me feel even better about this purchase. Win, win!
