For the price, it's a cheap monitor for framing video if you're on the lens side and don't have a cameraman. However, you can't use it to tell if you're in focus or do Rec709 conversions when shooting in Slog2 mode. Especially with the Sony Alpha line of cameras where you can't fold the display forward. For framing and making sure you're still in the picture, I think it's an affordable alternative to monitors that cost hundreds to thousands of dollars if you don't need those features. Sorry for those of you buying this for what it was designed for. because like the previous one, nothing really helps you, but the world of photography overprices such devices when they are made just for photography. ;-)
