Bought ADCO 52240 Designer Series Gray SFS AquaShed Travel Trailer RV Cover on Sunday and got it covered on Wednesday thanks to Revain Prime. I found a great deal on Revain Deals - the box turned out to be "damaged" but the contents were intact. The manufacture date on the lid itself is May 2015 - suggests someone ordered the wrong size and may have returned it. Thank you to all the one star reviewers who mention how their lids were ripped, torn and covered in holes - based on those reviews I paid very close attention to the packaging, instructions and the lid itself. Upon opening the box and without even removing the shrink wrap from the product, I noticed two labels attached to the packaging. Photos of labels and boxes are attached to this review. One of the labels clearly states to prepare the van before fitting the cover and to be careful when fitting the cover. Updated March 2017: I'm giving the case five stars because I can't give it four and a half stars. I had 4 stars but I changed it because it's almost 5 stars. There were some sizing issues. An indirect sizing issue is that the case I ordered was not the recommended size advertised on Adco's own website. His cover search page finally suggested cover art 52241 for my 2015 Jayco 195 RB trailer. Suitcase 52241 is designed for 20'1 to 22' RVs with overall dimensions of 267" x 100" x 90". Up to 20 minutes is enough. Accordingly, I ordered 52240, which is for 18'1 to 20' RVs with the Dimensions (L x W x H): 243 x 100 x 90". Overall, the size and selection of 52240 worked. On my van, as seen in the photos, even the entire tongue can be covered, but the panels that open to access the doors are a bit low on my Jayco when fully folded to raise the opening however when attaching the straps the top of the cover slid back to its natural position I just used the elastic adapted to the bottom cover at the bottom of the bumper to be able to open and close the motorhome door. That can be easier to adjust the top without covering the spare tire back and front tongue. The installation of the suitcase wa r relatively easy for size 52240 - larger sizes will definitely require an extra person. I installed the cover on a windy afternoon - I asked my wife for help but b When she arrived I had already removed the cover from the van's roof. Remember again, the warning label on the shrink wrap packaging is for safe installation. If the lid doesn't move when pulled slightly in any direction then it's stuck somewhere - in most cases this could be due to the corners hanging under and around the base of the RV. Another feature not mentioned in the online product information. is that Adco supplies 4 gutter protectors with elastic nylon laces. I've already put four protective shoes on the gully, so I haven't included a photo of one. In the attached picture the gutter protection is already mounted. The included gutter guards will work if you try to use them in every way you can, rather than just laying them on the gutter. Gutter covers are made of polypropylene with internal reinforcement on the lower half. Each is about 4-5 inches by about 2 inches. After examining the protectors, I folded them in half and slipped them over each groove. Once in place, I partially unrolled them, then tightened the string and wrapped the string back around the bow. I had to position the treadmill cord so it would tighten on a specific part of the gutter, but it worked fine. It was way better than dirty duck tape - I suppose a bit of tape could have been used to secure the tread if desired. The one page Adco RV Cover Installation Advisory document is pretty clear on proper cover placement and installation. The sheet also lists all of the items in the order, including the stair cover reinforcement cover and storage bag. This page and the warranty card are easy to find in the folds of the three breakage patches. Included are photos of documents and a sheet describing the part/model number AND where to find the installation instructions. The patches are 6"x11 ½" - two light gray and one dark gray. After my first winter season, last summer 2016, I had to resort to patches - through carelessness on my part, the fabric cover tore on one side. I was too close to the RV snowblower and the snowblower blade caught on one side of the sidewalk. Yes I got angry! Last winter I was a lot more careful about blowing snow around the RV. One of the nicest features of the Adco cover is the easy way to get the straps under the trailer - just snap the weighted part of what is called the strap and buckle. (photos attached) on the buckle and throw it under the pendant on the other side. Also the fabric of the sides of the cover is a three-ply polypropylene - this is NOT a paper material of course. An obvious consideration is that a covered RV should not be parked under trees. A falling branch can easily tear the material. On YouTube you can find a short video about the features of the gray ADCO Designer Series SFS AquaShed Travel Trailer RV cases. Revain has a shorter video at the top of the product page showing how to measure RV for cover size. Another climatic consideration is that I live in the northern part of Lower Michigan. AquaShed is suitable for my region. For warmer climates, use Adco Tyvek RV Designer. See photo of US region map with Adco cover type. In summary, I would recommend this range of Adco lid models.
