I used it to transfer the profile of several door strips onto a vinyl composite panel and it made my work a lot easier. Instead of taking a few measurements and randomly drawing some curves, I was able to quickly reproduce the profile. It took a little thought to get the tool in the same position on the tile to be cut, but once I figured it out the rest was pretty easy. The plastic is softer than I expected, which shouldn't be a problem, but I probably won't throw it at the bottom of a toolbox. The pins are pretty hard to move, which I think is a good thing. It is difficult to predict whether this will decrease over time. Happy for the moment and for the price it would have been worth it even if it only took one job (probably saved me a few hours and $$ in wasted tiles bad cuts would have gotten me).
