The greasy smell makes it unsuitable for household use!
This garland was a great price but the smell of the oil is so strong that I cannot use it. I aired it outside for several days, sprayed it with Lysol and it still stunk! I actually machine wash a roll and hope it doesn't fall apart. I understand that jute has a smell, but it's made for needlework, not for the garden or shop.
