Cheap and works great!

So far, so good. The seller answered my questions very quickly and helpfully and I was able to install and set it up quickly. Right now I only have two 100 watt panels, but hopefully by next week I will have 4. I will connect the panels in a series parallel configuration to reduce voltage losses. To update. Last week I connected 4 panels in parallel and charged my 4100Ah battery with no problems and in two weeks I will be adding 2 more panels and batteries. 6 total. I will parallel in series to provide 67.5V for the charge controller. To update. Last week I connected 6 100 watt panels in parallel. I was a little disappointed as I never hit 400 watts in full sun. After doing series-parallel and applying just over 60V to CC, I was blown away. At one point, CC showed over 600 watts! I am assuming that the CC display performance is calculated from how much voltage and current is fed to the batteries. In a few weeks I will be switching from 12v to 24v battery pack and inverter and adding two more 100w panels. I look forward to it! Update - I've been using this controller with multiple solar panel configurations since about mid-April and it's working well so far. There's always a but, right? ;) Last week I noticed a howling and growling fan every time I turned it on. After working for about a minute, he stopped crying, but I'm afraid he's already going out. I will email the seller to see what they would like to do. Update - seller sent me a replacement fan and everything works great!
