I had a problem connecting to the 240V network, fuses often blew. After determining that the problem wasn't overcurrent (I measured it with a current clamp) but rather overheating of a not-quite-strong connection (I heard tiny arcing noises), and the next fuse heated until it blew, this product was the solution . After carefully cleaning the wire of carbon deposits, I liberally applied this grease to the inside of the connector and tightened everything up as tight as I could. The audible arcing noise and terminal heating stopped immediately. A small caveat with this product - it gets everywhere - very quickly. After a little application, no matter how careful I was, my hands and tools were covered in black charcoal grease. Even after wiping the tools, months later I still get grime from them on my hands and then spread it over everything I touch. Be careful and clean thoroughly.
