Review on 🐴 Cashel No Turn Rubber Bell Boots for Horses - Equine Pair in Black, Blue, Red, and Teal by Krystal Boyd

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good shoes and finally big enough

So far they are holding up well. I leave them on my warm blooded gelding 24/7. The size corresponds (big enough). They don't rub against your heels and are easy to put on and take off. The Velcro is clogged with hay and mud, but that doesn't affect durability. Velcro remains "stubborn". I don't know why it says "no turn" because they are definitely turning. However, this was not a problem. They seem strong enough to take a few hits. I don't like the typical "tight" boots because they have a grip that sits in the heel to keep the boot from rotating. This grip usually wears a wound on my horse's heels. They don't have a handle on the back and are free to spin in circles, which isn't a problem as the velcro seems strong enough even if the horse hits it with its hind hoof when stretching out. Everyone has their own preferences but for me these boots work great and are big enough so far. Their size corresponds to the size of the hooves of large horses. I had previously ordered 3 more pairs of boots in large and extra large sizes from other brands only to return them as they were too small. In my opinion they are "normal" size.
