Seems to be a very good package. And there is a compressor. Less noisy than I thought and a large reservoir keeps it from shutting off constantly. You can airbrush for about 5 minutes before it turns back on. The cylinderless compressor runs every time you pull the trigger on the air gun. However, the airbrush is almost useless. We spent a lot of time on YouTube watching videos with instructions on how to clean, adjust and use the airbrush. In practice, we've tried all sorts of settings and still can't get accurate results. To further confuse the issue, the paint in the kit is not suitable for plastic. We were able to get usable results on paper, but not on the plastic models I bought it for. And yes we've done everything they recommend like pre-sanding and rinsing but still can't use anything. We fixed this issue by painting the parts with a gray plastic primer that I bought at my local hardware store. The paints in the kit work well if you prime them first. When we started buying plastic model paint from the local hobby shop everything was fine. We ended up buying an airbrush at an average price from a local store and the quality went up 10x. Since the quality of the airbrush in the kit was very poor, I decided we had nothing to lose by trying to improve the airbrush in the kit. The biggest difference I could tell between a good airbrush and a kit airbrush was the needle. Included was a needle with a very long point. It felt like it needed to be tapered to a point but remained very thin by an extra 1/4 inch. Since it was useless I decided to cut off the long tip using a Dremel with a cutting wheel. Then I put the needle in the drill and sanded a new point that matched the point on a good airbrush as closely as possible. Then I used a dremal with polish and rotated the needle in the drill to get everything as round as possible and polished the needle as brightly as I could. (with several different polishes). With a new polished needle, the airbrush kit is quite suitable for fine details. My suggestion is to just buy a compressor and a good airbrush, or just spend the extra money to get a package that includes a good airbrush. Sentence
