Review on 🚤 Universal Boat Mirror - Seachoice 79501 8 x 4 Inch Convex Safety Glass - Black ABS Plastic Housing by Phil Morales

This mirror is disappointing. It's a good size and attractive (if you like/want black). But it's poorly designed. It consists of three components: the mirror itself, the bracket and the mounting base. The base is unnecessarily long, which limits the places you can install a mirror. For example, it's too long to be mounted on my boat's console without hanging in the front or back. (The base cannot be rotated sideways). Also, the mounting arm is attached to the base at one end rather than closer to the middle. Since there are three screw holes in the base and the mounting arm is mounted very close to the weak (one screw) end of the base and the two screws are farthest from the mount, most of the load is placed on the single screw at the weak end. By the way, the quality control of this mirror is not up to par. The base has three countersunk holes for pan head screws; in my package, however, were only two screws and both pan head screws.
