never turns off: Car electronics

I need to add a toggle switch to make the radio REALLY turn off. When I try to turn it off with the "power button" the screen goes black but my battery dies -_- and I can't contact the seller in time, cool radio. A mirror link requires you to download a weird non-english app and create an account for the radio to 'correctly' mirror the link, and it's also needed for a few other things. I feel betrayed about the radio if they can't tell me how it works as advertised I'm very disappointed,
