I am so happy with this rolling pin. I wanted a French style pin because they are easier to manipulate. It's also a good weight - heavy enough to work well and light enough that my (frail, small, human) hands don't get too tired from using it. This is good wood, looks good and feels good. My only real downside is that it's so long it doesn't fit in any of my drawers. But honestly, who cares? It's so pretty on my countertop I don't need to hide it. This is a great pin at a great price and makes a great gift.
